Interstate 81 finally opened last night just before 10pm following a collision of two tractor-trailers that delayed and detoured drivers for eight hours.

Northbound lanes of 81 just south of Syracuse were affected with the crash of the two big rigs near the 481 interchange at around 2 pm. Fortunately, just one person was hospitalized with what appeared to be minor injuries. Syracuse police say they will continue to investigate this crash.
