Helping Kids Get Jobs After High School

Syracuse schools have approved plans to phase out Fowler High School.

The district will turn Fowler, one of the state's lowest-achieving schools, into what they're calling a "public service academy" over the next four years.

The long-term goal for the school will be to offer students the chance to earn a college-level "Associates degree."

Here is Prof. Bob Greene who talks on 570 WSYR about some different ways that we will start to educate our kids and help get them jobs after high school.
