Syracuse, N.Y. - The top Executives of Onondaga County and the City of Syracuse say they will start working more closely together in an effort to no longer duplicate services.

County Executive Joanie Mahoney and Mayor Stephanie Miner  announced that they will be reaching out to private sector consultants to compile statistics on all governmental operations in Onondaga County. The contracted consultants will collect data to identify more innovative ways that the city and county can share services and make local government more effficient.
