Man Arrested For Spree of Bank Roberies

Syracuse, N.Y.  Syracuse City Police arrest a Baldwinsville man for robbing two banks in less than a week.

Nicholas Fiorini, 20, is accused of robbing the State Employee Federal Credit Union on Crouse Ave on Friday and the M&T bank located on Manlius Center Road on Monday.

Late Monday night City police spotted a car wanted in connection with the bank robbery in the Town of Manlius. Police pulled the car over and took the vehicles driver into custody for questioning.

A short time later police found Fiorini hiding out at the Clarion Suites in Baldwinsville. He was taken into custody without incident and arrested for Robbery in the first degree in connection with the SEFCU robbery; charges against Fiorini are pending in connection with the Manlius bank robbery.

Nicholas Fiorini is scheduled to be Tuesday today in city court.
