The villages of Sandy Creek and Lacona will be boiling water until at least Wednesday, according to the Oswego County Health Department.

Health officials issued an advisory on Thursday about water quality after a water main break in the municipal system. The county had expected to lift the advisory on Tuesday. Officials say the water main break has been repaired and they are now waiting for final test results of the water. They say residents will be informed when tests confirm no harmful bacteria are in the system.
