Syracuse University earned a somewhat dubious distinction by ranking number five in Princeton Review's list of top "party schools."

The annual survey ranked the University of Iowa as top party school. SU actually moved up in this poll. Last year, Princeton rated them number 10 and 12th in 2011. The rankings are based on surveys the publication says are answered by an average of 333 students per campus. They're asked 80 questions on a variety of subjects over a three-year period. Publication officials say the rankings are based solely on student opinion.
