Congrats to local couple Travis Drexler and Allie Randall! They got engaged in a very unique way: Travis carved the words "Allie will you marry me?" into a corn field! In fact, he made it into a corn maze that will be open to the public this fall at Springside Farm in Fabius.

Lucifer might seem like a strange name for a dog, but there is nothing devilish about this heroic pooch! The brave dog is being praised for saving her owner's life as their Kansas house burned down. Larry Moore fell asleep on his living room chair when a fire broke out and quickly spread. The smoke detectors never went off, so Lucifer the dog jumped into his lap and woke him up. Flames were all around him so he quickly grabbed both of his dogs and ran out of the house. They are all fine thanks to his dog, Lucifer.
