An Arizona mom and her friends are fighting online trolls after they shared a picture of their postpartum bodies on Instagram. Bethanie Garcia has been friends with a group of women online for about a year, and recently met them in person for the first time during a conference. They took a "last-minute" photo of them showing off their postpartum bodies- and trolls were quick to comment on their appearance.
What Garcia and her friends decided to focus on, however, were the positive comments. Other women in the comments section were overjoyed that there were other people out there who looked just like them, and that they felt less alone knowing that there is no such thing as a perfect postpartum body.
