Donuts Donated to Homeless - Good Stuff 10-3-18

Glazed & Confused donated 1,000 donuts to the homeless in Syracuse. They give out free donuts every week to homeless organizations in Syracuse. This time they went above and beyond after the owners saw the news about a Dunkin' worker pouring water on a homeless man. They said they just felt like it was the right thing to do. Speaking of... A GoFundMe Page has been set up for Jeremy Dufresne. He’s the homeless man who had water dumped over him at a Dunkin Donuts downtown. It was originally set up to raise $150, but is already $11,000 after only one day. GoFundMe is working with the man who set up the page to get the money to Dufresne. You can give here: GoFundMe

The holidays are coming and this year several stores have decided NOT to open on Thanksgiving. Many stores try to take advantage of Black Friday sales by being open on Thanksgiving, which angered employees and families. So, hundreds of stores are responding by being closed. L.L. Bean is Donating $1M To Help Build Parks so that there is one close to everyone nationwide. The Trust for Public Land wants everyone to be within a 10 minute walk of a park, regardless of background, income, or zip code. L.L.
