Over $19K Raised for Jeremy Dufrense - Good Stuff 10-4-18

Over $19-thousand has been raised for the homeless man who had water dumped on him by a Dunkin Donuts employee. Now that money has been put in a trust in his name. Samuel Breazeale is the person who raised the money for Jeremy Dufrense in just two days!  The  Daytona 500 of big block modified racing is here: Super Dirt Week in Oswego has begun, with opening day yesterday featuring a parade. The 5-day event features races with some of the most competitive drivers in the world. 

Coffee with a Cop Day took place nationwide yesterday! 2 McDOnald's here in  Binghamton participated in the day the brings together officers and the public to talk about issues and get to know eachother better. Everyone who came out got a free small coffee.

Australia is on pace to wipe out cervical cancer in the coming decades.  A new study says an aggressive screening and vaccination program is expected to reduce cervical cancer to fewer than four in 100-thousand Australian women a year by 2028.  That puts Australia on track to become the first country to eliminate cervical cancer. 

A new sports bar is opening up in downtown Binghamton on Hawley Street! On Deck will replace what was the Parlor City Pub next year. Construction begins soon. The owner of  Upstate Shredding in Owego is the one opening the bar the current owners of Parlor City Pub.

Congrats to Kate Hudson who welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday.  Hudson said on Instagram that her name is Rani [[ Ronnie ]], after her boyfriend’s late grandfather.  It is the couple's first child together. She also has a 14-year-old son with her ex-husband, and a seven-year-old son with her ex-fiance.
