Students rallied in Downtown Syracuse for Mental Health Awareness Week. Syracuse Students is a high school student organization who held a mental health rally in Clinton Square. Volunteers Are helping to clean up Syracuse parks. The WeLoveU Foundation cleaned up Comfort Tyler Park on East Colvin Street in partnership with Mayor Ben Walsh's Adopt-a-Block Program. (24/7 News Source) More than 20 high school students and a driver are safe after being rescued from a school bus stranded in high water in Kansas City. The bus was carrying students to Raytown South High School when it got stuck in flood water yesterday morning after heavy rains fell in the area. All students and the driver were safely evacuated from the bus within 20 minutes. No one was injured in the incident, and another bus transported the students to school.
A Toddler is getting a Life-Saving New Liver And Kidney. The 3 year old was born with a rare genetic disorder that causes cysts to develop in the kidneys and can cause other organs to fail. A best friend of the family was found to be a match and was able to donate just before her third birthday. Her parents say she is grateful and very excited to finally be able to eat pizza.
