Stan Lee is as big a name in comic books as the characters he created in them - Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, and so many others. It was Stan who took Marvel Comics from a small-time operation and got them into the movie business, where their success and his fame multiplied. Stan's death at 95 may not have been a big surprise, but it still leaves a giant hole in a world where few have done so much for so long. Marvel salutes the legacy of Stan Lee here, and I only hope his legion of fans will feel the studio did Stan the justice that he so richly deserves.
