8th Grader Raises $108,000 For Kids with Cancer - The Good Stuff 3-29-19

An 8th grader at Onondaga Hill Middle School in Syracuse has raised $108,000 for kids fighting cancer. Bodie Centore (sen-tore) has been doing this for the St. Baldrick's Foundation for the past 8 years. His close friend, Charlie, lost his battle to cancer last August. The St. Baldrick's Foundation head shaving event is Sunday at Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub. CNY Central

A group at Windsor Central High School is making sure no one in their district goes hungry. Called the Knight Pack, they just accepted their 100,000th donated food item. The food goes to kids so they can have meals on days the school, can’t provide for them. Student Alexis Green started the program when she was in 7th grade. WBNG
