Teachers Donate Sick Days to Colleague w/ Sick Child - The Good Stuff

Teachers at a High School in Alabama donated their sick days to a colleague whose daughter is battling cancer. History teacher David Green’s 16-month-old daughter, Kinsley, has to receive treatment 100 miles from home, causing him to is a lot of work. So, his fellow teachers donated their sick days to help him be able to spend more time with her. Sunny Skyz

Honor Flight Syracuse took 80 local vets to Washington DC on Saturday. Many Central New Yorkers welcomed them home. Honor Flight Network was formed in 2005 to transport veterans at no cost to Washington, DC to visit their memorials. NewsChannel 9

The 5th Annual Knight Pack Walk at Windsor Central School sent out its 100,000th food pack to help hungry kids. Alexis Green, a student at the school, started the event 6 years ago after noticing her community had a problem. She graduates this year, and will passed the program along to other students. WBNG

Rochester was recognized at the NFL Draft. It’s the 100th anniversary of the league, ad one of the original teams was the Rochester Jeffersons. To honor Rochester, Mayor Lovely Warren and several community members announced the Buffalo Bills' picks in rounds 5 and 6. 13WHAM
