Rosamond Gifford Zoo Welcomes New Baby Bison! - The Good Stuff 5/10

The Royals weren't the only ones who gave birth this week! County Executive Ryan McMahon announced the birth of a baby American bison at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. The female calf was born while on exhibit right in front of many zoo visitors. The bison, named Madison, was the second bison born at the zoo to mother Sue and father Harley. A school bus driver in Norwich is a hero for stopping a student who was about to get off her bus and step into the path of a speeding car. Samantha Call grabbed the hood of the boy’s jacket just as a car ignored her stop lights and sped past the bus door, which was caught on camera.
