OK, let's get this straight. I love Star Wars. I have watched the original three movies so many times I think I can recite most of the dialogue by heart. I have tried to appreciate the next three movies but haven't mustered the same amount of enthusiasm. As for the Disney versions, I have finally broken with the franchise. I'll just join George Lucas in retirement, re-running those now ancient movies again and again.
For this latest installment, we get to revisit Luke, Leia, Lando, and the ever-popular Emperor Palpatine. Yes, Luke kills him in The Return of the Jedi, but I'm not sure how far in the future that glorious day is. When you figure it out, please let me know. I worry about Luke.
