Have you done your Thanksgiving grocery shopping yet? If not, you can get a free turkey dinner by downloading an app and filling your online shopping cart at Walmart. The “cash back” offer is from shopping app Ibotta and Walmart and it could help cut down on the cost of your holiday feast.
To get in on the deal, start by downloading the Ibotta app or browser extension, then click the “Free Thanksgiving Day dinner” offer. It will redirect you to Walmart’s Pick up and Delivery service where you can shop online for the eligible items. You can also buy them in stores and upload a receipt to get your money back. And the cash can be received in as little as 24 hours! Eligible food items include:
- Three-pound turkey roast
- Stuffing Mix, six-ounces
- Mashed Potatoes, eight-ounce pouch
- Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, 10.5-ounce can
- Cranberry Sauce, 14-ounces
- Green Beans, 12-ounces
- Crispy Fried Onions
- ...and a two-liter bottle of cola
Of course, there are some restrictions, like all Coke products count, except Coke Zero for some reason. And you don’t have to buy every item on the list to get cash back, you can pick and choose. The deal doesn’t cover each and every item you’ll probably need for Thanksgiving dinner, but free is free.
