It's pretty clear by now that not everyone sees (or hears) exactly the same thing. Recall the debate a while back about the color of a particular dress - people actually saw different colors and were sure they were right. This is a similar test, but using ears instead of eyes. Listen to the brief clip of a computer-generated voice saying a name. Is it Yanny, or is it Laurel? Just like the dress, people hear different names and cannot understand how someone could hear it differently. Note: this clip is on a continuous loop, which may prove to be useful, or may drive you to pour coffee all over the intern.
