Two little boys in Kentucky are teaching the world a really important lesson without even knowing it. Last week, 5-year-old Jax Rosebush got his haircut. When he was asked what he wanted, he said he wanted the same cut as his friend Reddy. He thought by having the same cut their teacher wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. The thing is, Jax is white and Reddy is black.
“It is just two innocent boys. Obviously, they see they are different colors, they just don’t care. It is not important,” Jax’s mother, Lydia Rosebush, told TODAY Parents.
When Reddy got to school he told their teacher and his classmates that he was Jax and Jax told everyone he was Reddy. The teacher played along.
Rosebush shared the story on Facebook and it has gotten over 78-thousand reactions.
These two funny kids are teaching us all a serious lesson about acceptance.
