CNY Students Asked to Defend Nazis for Homework

Julie McMahon from Syracuse.com posted this story which you can check out here: Syracuse.com

This happened in Oswego where, apparently, a teacher asked students to defend the Nazis and the Holocaust.

Some were asked to argue for them, some against them.

The assignment was meant to expand the student's point of view by going outside of their comfort zone. It was also NOT meant to make anyone sympathetic to the Nazis.

The kids who were assigned this were, as you can imagine, uncomfortable.
