A Mattydale private music teacher is accused of child sex crimes.  Police charged Michael Waite for having relations with a child 12 or under.

Former central New York SPCA director Karen Conklin is suing the board for defamation. She was fired in May and is seeking over $4-million in damages. 

Syracuse University is the number 4 party school in the nation in this year’s Princeton Review. That’s up from 8th last year. SU was number one in 2014.

Anthony Scaramucci is out as White House communications director after only being around for about a week. The White House says it was best to give new Chief of Staff John Kelly a "clean slate.”

President Trump is accused of having "personally dictated" his son's response to news about a meeting with a Russian lawyer.  

Experts say there's only a five-percent chance we will keep the planet’s temperature from rising two degrees Celsius by 2100. Two degrees is  considered to be the breaking point for seas rising to disastrous levels.  

Oscar-nominated actor Sam Shepard is dead at the age of 73. He passed Sunday at his home in Kentucky surrounded by family.  Shepard earned an Academy Award nomination for the 1983 movie "The Right Stuff."  He had been ill for some time with ALS.  HBO says hackers broke into their computers and put unreleased episodes of Ballers and Room 104 online. They also leaked a script form the next episode of Game of Thrones.
