Our listener, Jo, sent us this on Facebook: A ton of kids from Oswego and Mexico, New York are painting positive and inspirational messages on rocks. They then hide them for others to find. When someone stumbles onto one of them, they take a picture and share it on a Facebook page. It’s a simple and fun way to spread happiness, and that’s what we are all about!
A high school cross country team is going to the dogs...literally! Every morning on the team’s run, dogs from local shelters go with them. It’s great for both the runners and the dogs since they both get a great workout. Plus, the dogs get to meet new people every morning, which leads to people adopting them!
An eight-year-old is helping his best friend get a new wheelchair. Paul and Kamden have been friends since Kindergarten. Kamden is in a wheelchair and Paul noticed that his current one was a little too bulky. So, Paul started a fundraising campaign and was able to raise over 5-thousand-dollars for a custom chair, which will make it easier for the friends to have more fun.
A teacher in Indiana is sharing her wedding day with her students. The elementary school teacher got married and invited her entire Kindergarten and first grade class to the ceremony. The 20 kids walked down the aisle wearing white and carrying garland. She said it made total sense to invite the kids since they are a huge part of who she is.
