A seven-year-old boy is dead after being hit by an SUV in Syracuse. Names are being withheld as the investigation continues. Meanwhile A six-year-old girl is expected to survive after being hit by a car in Salina.  No charges have been filed. Alfred Angelo Bridal, which recently went bankrupt, says they will not be fulfilling any more orders, causing huge issues for brides trying to get dressed they ordered and paid for. Things are heating up in the probe of Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian attorney. Special Counsel Robert Mueller [[ MULL-er ]] has issued subpoenas and gotten together a grand jury to investigate Russian meddling in the presidential election. 

President Trump told Mexico's president to stop saying, to the press, his country would not pay for a U.S. border wall. Trump also said in the call he realized that funding would probably have to come from other sources.

The woman convicted of sending texts urging her boyfriend to commit suicide is back at home as she appeals the ruling.  Michelle Carter was sentenced yesterday to two-and-a-half-years in prison. 

40,000 people had to be evacuated from the Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago last night because of severe weather. Lorde and Muse were forced to stop in the middle of their performances and leave the stage.

Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has turned down an offer to compete on Dancing With the Stars. He says he will be too busy this fall.
