Bruno Mars Donates $1 Million to Flint

Bruno Mars is helping out the people of Flint, Michigan with a $1-million-dollar donation. Flint continues to deal with a water crisis that has been going on now since 2014. The organization Bruno is donating to helps the community by providing water, job programs, and food donations.

An area band broke a world record over the weekend--- we hope! My So Called Band played 90 shows in 90 hours with their final one being at Colemans in Syracuse. The band played a few songs at each of the venues to qualify each as a show. Now they haven’t officially broken the record yet because they need an official ruling from the Guinness Book of World Records, but it looks like they did it.

Now, this is one amazing co-worker: A Massachusetts woman won $1-million-dollars from a scratch off, and decided to split the prize with her co-workers! They’ll all get about $85-thousand-dollars a person after taxes. Do you think anyone here would do that?

A community came together to help restock a local food bank. After putting the call out that they desperately needed items, over 6-thousand-pounds of food, were donated in just three hours. The food bank is now full, ensuring that they can feed those who need it in the town.
