5-Year-Old Gets a Letter from NASA

 

A 5-year-old boy sent NASA a design for a rocket he drew. Needless to say, he was over the moon when an engineer from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory wrote back to him, calling the design great, and telling the kid to keep it up. The engineer said that with that kind of enthusiasm he hopes to see him at NASA one day. Read more.

A Missouri couple celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary! Robert, who’s 93, and Marie, who’s 89 got married in 1942! They have seven kids, and a ton of grandkids, great-grandkids and even some great-great grandkids! They said they’ve had a wonderful life together. 


 

A high school teacher is helping her students on her wedding day. Rickee Stewart learned that more than 100 of her students are homeless. Instead of wedding gifts, she’s asking guests to donate clothes for them. Her donation gift registry is even getting support from total strangers! Read more.

Riding a bike is a part of growing up for most kids, but for some with developmental or physical disabilities, it’s not that easy. The iCan Ride Bike Camp was set up to teach those kids how to ride in specially designed bikes. The camp hopes that by the end of the week, they can join their friends on a ride. Read more.
