Some good news with those solar eclipse glasses. Astronomers without Borders is helping people halfway around the world see the next eclipse. They’re collecting glasses to send to schools in South America and Asia where there will be eclipses in 2019. You can mail your eclipse glasses in and let someone else experience the magic. A couple found their engagement ring, 9 years after it went missing! It was found in a crack in a sidewalk in Italy! In 2006 the couple was vacationing when the ring slipped loose. Flash forward to last month and while the couple was vacationing in the same town they noticed something shiney coming from a crack. The now-husband was curious and sure enough it was the diamond ring! It still fits and will hopefully stay put on her finger.Read more.

A veteran is selling his war medals to help pay for a girl’s cancer treatment. The British vet read about Lottie, a 4-year-old girl who’s battling Neuroblastoma, and the $250-thousand experimental vaccine treatment that she needs. By selling his medals and donating the money, he hopes that it gets them closer to their goal. Read more. 

A young teen with autism thought he would be celebrating his 13th birthday alone, until the entire community showed up to surprise him. Hundreds of people came including Star Wars Stromtroopers. The teen’s parents are hoping that the positivity people showed will continue throughout the school year. Read more.
