The state wants to evaluate kids on more than just test scores.
The board of regents approved the plan yesterday that will look beyond test scores and consider things like how prepared they are for life after high school, and how often they miss class.
What do you think? Should kids learn more life skills in school? Or should we, as parents, step it up in this area? Are tests THAT important?
