A Blind Man Will Run The NYC Marathon

A blind man will run the NYC Marathon this weekend with help from an app he created. Simon Wheatcroft has got a few extra things to deal with as he runs the 26.2 miles, he’s legally blind and will be running on his own. He will be running with assistance from an app called Wayband. It uses GPS technology to send vibrations to users to indicate when they should move right or left. Simon Said “What I’m interested in is making sure this technology exists to help everybody.” Source: Inside Edition
