The Syracuse Crunch had their annual Teddy Bear Toss Saturday where after the Crunch score their first goal of the game, fans can toss teddy bears onto the ice which all get donated to the Salvation Army. It didn't take long as defenseman Dominik Masin scored just 2 minutes, 29 seconds into the game, causing a blizzard of teddy bears to hit the ice! Over 3,600 animals were gathered when the flurry ended. And the Crunch won in overtime. The stuffed animals will be brought to Shoppingtown Mall for a special Christmas Bureau distribution event for families in need.
