Charity Group Collects Warm Cloths For Gift Bags

Gift Bag

A Charity group left gift bags filled with warm clothes all around Milwaukee parks. Heather Witt knows how cold the winter weather can get in Wisconsin, so she organized a group called Operation Scarf to put scarfs, gloves and hats into bags, then leave them all around the city for anyone who might need them. The group has been tying the bags to trees with yarn in County Parks. Along with the warm clothes, the bags also feature a tag that reads, "I'm not lost. If you're stuck in the cold please take me to keep you warm!" along with personal notes such as, "You are loved." Check out the full story here: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
