New Blood Test Can Detect 8 Types Of Cancer

Researchers at Johns Hopkins are in the process of developing a blood test that can detect eight different types of cancer. The test would only cost $500, and can even identify the disease before it has even developed. In trials, the screening was able to detect 70% of the cancers- and doctors are hoping that this test can be used in addition to current methods of cancer detection, such as mammograms and colonoscopies.
