Man Flips Car at Exit 33; High On Medical Marijuana

(NewsRadio 570 WSYR Reporting) Verona, N.Y. - A Rome man is accused of flipping his car at a Thruway toll booth while under the influence of medical marijuana.

State police say 54-year-old Charles Whittier crashed his Prius into the side of the toll booth and flipped his car onto its roof at a toll booth at Exit 33 in Verona.

Whittier has a medical marijuana card but police say that didn't give him the right to drive high.

Pat's Take: he missed. Ouch. Yeah it may be medical but you can't drive while you're under the influence of anything dude.

I wonder if EZ pass still took his payment? It should...
