The Syracuse Orange will be joined by one of their biggest fans when they travel to Omaha for the Sweet 16! News Channel 9 reports that Neil Gold hasn’t missed a game since the 2003 national championship. He was even court-side when ‘Cuse upset Michigan state. His entire basement is an Orange shrine, and because of his dedication he will travel with the team, on a private jet, to the Sweet 16. Enjoy Neil! We are all super jealous! Go Cuse, beat Duke.

Several police and fire departments paid tribute to 10 year old Colin Toland by taking part in a procession for the late child. Colin was an honorary Lieutenant for the Ithaca police department who passed away from brain cancer. Police gave him what’s called an End of Watch, which is when a member has answered their last call. Colin battled an aggressive brain tumor for years, and was able to live out his dream of becoming a police officer, arresting the Grinch last Christmas. His passing is of course heartbreaking, but the honor these departments gave him is truly beautiful.

A Kansas $1 million lottery winner lost his ticket, but had it returned to him so he could cash in! The man told lottery officials that he and his brother were on their way home to watch basketball when they stopped at a gas station to check his tickets to see if they won, and sure enough his mega millions ticket won him a million dollars… but, it was dropped, and not signed, when leaving the store. A gas station attendant found the dropped ticket, discovered it was a $1 million winner, and worked with the clerk’s son to track down the man who had dropped it. Needless to say he was very thankful.

Ed and Margaret McNoble arrived at The Carltun to say "I do," when they were given a congratulatory greeting from the pop superstar.  The singer sent the couple a bottle of expensive champagne, along with a handwritten note thanking the two super fans for using two of her songs at their wedding last weekend.  This isn't the first time Taylor did something like this.  In 2016, Swift showed up at a wedding in New Jersey and performed "Blank Space" at the ceremony.
