A former Make-A-Wish patient is now a doctor at the same hospital. When Jen Pratt was a child, she was diagnosed and treated for a tumor in her leg at Children’s St. Paul Hospital in Minneapolis. During her year of chemo and surgeries, she was a Make-A-Wish kid and figured out what she’d like to do with her life when she grew up: be a doctor. Well she made that happen! You can now call her Dr Pratt, and find her in the same hallways of the hospital that saved her life!
A cashier surprised a regular customer with a kind gesture. Marcus Henderson is a cashier at Chick Fil A in Texas, and a regular customer accidentally forgot to take his change after getting his order at the drive-thru window. But instead of putting the $3 back into the register Marcus kept the money in an envelope in his back pocket. After weeks of putting the money in his pocket during every shift Marcus finally saw the man again and gave back the $3. He knows it really wasn't about the money, more just about making the customer feel special.
