Bills Fan with Cancer Announces Draft pick

Buffalo Bills fan Ezra Castro, who is a well recognized superfan nicknamed “Pancho Billa,” got the dream of a lifetime this weekend. He is battling cancer, so his friends lobbied for the BIlls to let him announce one of their draft picks at this weekend’s NFL draft. The Bills said they couldn’t sawing it, but brought him to the draft to lead their fan section. In the 3rd round, team legends Andre Reed and Fred Jackson came up on stage to make the Bills’ pick,  but to everyone's surprise, they told Castro‘s story, and invited him on stage to make the team’s pick! He cried tears of joy and is gaining national attention now, which will hopefully help in his battle with cancer. Watch the moment below... 


About 80 Syracuse veterans took part in Honor Flight Syracuse Mission 11 to Washington DC. While in the capital they visited the monuments that honor our fallen soldiers. THey returned home Saturday to hundreds of family, friends and even strangers welcoming them back at Hancock airport, honoring their service. Honor flight is taking applications for veterans to travel with them in September.

Also, 2nd-graders in Tennessee are trying to collect postcards from every  country... and they’re getting closer. Lisa Burdick’s second grade class in Elizabethton received a postcard from a local church, and it inspired them to see if they could get more. Her students at Valley Forge Elementary School soon had postcards from all 50 states, and then a fellow teacher posted a request on social media for more postcards from abroad... and they started pouring in. Now the second-graders have gotten postcards from 125 countries and territories.
