Taylor Swift gave an eight-year-old Arizona burn victim a life-lasting memory. Swift took time to visit Isabella McCune in a Phoenix hospital over the weekend. She was burned over 50-percent of her body during a recent backyard barbecue accident. She has undergone several surgeries and remains hospitalized, but is a huge fan of Swift and says the Grammy winner's music helps her through her pain. She'll miss the upcoming Swift concert at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale and her only wish was to meet the her, and thanks to a huge social media push it happened.
A 10 year old girl from Warners got a new state of the art prosthetic arm. Colleen Sullivan’s new arm was designed and built by students at Siena College. She received the first full arm the college’s e-NABLE team has ever made. Colleen will now be able to grab things with her new right arm and hopes to be able to ride 2 wheelers, like bikes. Siena college will also research the arm so they can continue to make improvements.
