The Dome is finally getting an $118 million renovation that will totally transform the game day experience! For years, the New York Yankees have been quietly sending flowers to the funerals or station houses of officers killed in action across the country. It started decades ago with the Yankees sending flowers to fallen New York Police Department officers, then three years ago the project got bigger. There’s no formal process or official database the Yankees use to keep track of all the fallen officers, but their goal is to deliver flowers to the funerals or station houses of every officer killed in action across the U.S. They admit it’s difficult to keep up, but the kind gesture means a lot to the families and fellow officers. A student with Down syndrome became the first person to complete four years of college in the state. Cody Sullivan graduated from Concordia University in Oregon with a certificate of achievement in Elementary Education. Thanks to the West Coast Think College coalition program, which works with colleges and universities to include students with intellectual disabilities in regular classes, Cody was able to get a the full degree and be a first in his state.
