Great summer weather has returned for it's final hurrah. With it comes great news, and a perfect spot to soak up the warm weather with a beautiful view.
A legendary Rochester Irish waterfront bar has re-opened after being shut down for the summer season due to Lake Ontario flooding.
Silk O'Loughlin's, known to most as Olie's, made it's grand return on Sunday. Hundreds of happy patrons flooded (sorry for that ironic pun) the iconic joint on the Genesee River in Summerville, next to the US Coast Guard Station.
Congrats to the owners Mike and Sarah McKeon who were aided in the re-build by Amy and Paddy McKeon and Jack Lynch.
Olie's will remain open through fall. Please take the beautiful ride up St. Paul and welcome the family back by toasting a cold drink and nice meal along the river.
