Mariah Carey is a huge talent with a voice that could probably shatter the backboards at the Carrier Dome. She is also a diva of spectacular proportions, so the two sometimes don't always fit. We here in Syracuse and Central New York will soon see, as Her Whistleness (my name for her and that bird-like sound known as the "whistle range") will come out with "Caution," her first album since the 2014 bomb known as "I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse." She is, after all, Mariah, which means it will get more than a few listens. Let's hope there's more to it than drama and cleavage.
