A couple who lost an engagement ring in a gutter in Times Square is getting their ring back.
The New York Police Department says they've found the English couple and are working to get the ring back to them.
Just after midnight, a man chose a bustling sidewalk in Times Square to propose to his girlfriend and she said yes. However, before he could put the ring on her finger, it bounced into a nearby gutter. The couple flagged down a police officer to help them, but they couldn't retrieve it.
The following morning, officers removed the grate and found the ring. They then launched a social media campaign to help find the couple.
