It would be helpful if we could agree on something: whatever you might think of former president Barack Obama politically or policy-wise or anything else related to his job as president, we could all agree that is at his core a very decent and good-hearted person. I think he has proven that time and again, and he's back out in the public eye again, making a bunch of sick kids happy by laughing and dancing and talking and hugging. I am grateful that he still wants to do this kind of thing, which makes sense because he is this kind of person.
