It's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. It’s an effort to teach your kids about your job and was created back in 1992. This year's theme is "workforce Development for All" so that children are empowered to develop their careers.

The Maine-Endwell softball team are wearing sunflower hair clip during their games in memory of 16-year-old Harper Stantz. She died after an accused drugged driver hit her when she was walking on the sidewalk. The girls didn’t know Stantz, but know tragedy hits close to home. It’s a kind and simple gesture to remember an amazing person. WBNG
Kids from Greece Athena Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society cleaned up Ontario Beach State Park. They did it as part of the national "Adopt-A-Beach" program. They also learned about the effects of pollution and career opportunities. 13WHAM
