The owners of a little dog that police say was severely beaten by a Syracuse man are now getting some financial help. A GoFundMe page has been set up to cover the medical bills for Pomos, a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix. Investigators say a man strangled the dog and tried to pull its legs apart over the weekend. Pomos suffered a broken leg, bruised eyes and torn toenails. The guy faces prison time.
The lawyers who will represent the dog in court are paying for Pomos' injuries.
Their group, Volunteer Advocate Lawyer for Animal Abuse Court (VALAC) has established a GoFundMe page which you can donate to now by clicking here: GoFundMe
