We catch a lot of flak here in Syracuse from national media, but a travel writer raved about our city after visiting!
Roger Sands of Forbes magazine says Syracuse is, "one of the most underrated cities in the country" and is "brimming with excitement and charm" in what he calls a modern-day renaissance. He, of course, gives a lot of credit to the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, formerly the Hotel Syracuse, and it’s renovation. But there’s also been a boom in local restaurants and businesses opening up. Those business owners are all optimistic about the city’s future as more and more things continue to pop up downtown.
