If you haven't purged your social media profiles of anything that you wouldn't show your parents, it's probably best that you do that sooner than later. According to a recent study by CareerBuilder, 70% of employers have admitted to scanning potential employees' online presence before hiring them.
Now, before you start panicking- most companies are checking your Facebooks and LinkedIns to make sure your employment history adds up. But it wouldn't hurt to go the extra mile and filter through your posts.
