John Legend Coming to CNY! The Good Stuff 10-2-18

I mean we think this is definitely Good Stuff: Y94 welcomes John Legend to the Turning Stone Casino this December! This is his only show in Upstate New York and he will be kicking off the release of his first Christmas album, "Legendary Christmas."  The show is at the Event Center inside the casino on Friday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.at ticketmaster.com. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and women in Onondaga County can get free mammograms! The Onondaga County Cancer Services Program is for women ages of 40 and 64 who don’t have health insurance.The free services are available at many healthcare provider sites throughout the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County. There's a new pumpkin record in New York!  Karl Haist broke the state record for growing a pumpkin that tipped the scales at 2-thousand and 27 pounds!  He was given thousands of dollars in prizes this weekend at the World Pumpkin Weigh-Off at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, New York.  Haist actually came in second place at last year's competition with a pumpkin that weighed 17-hundred pounds. A man Found $46K In a Donated Slow Cooker, so he  Tracked Down The original Owner to get it back to them. Jesse Diaz works at a Goodwill and was going through donations when he opened a slow cooker with the money inside. He had a feeling that the owner of that money would want it back, so he started trying to track down that person. After some digging, he found the 79-year-old woman whose husband had just passed away. She had no idea the cash was in there and was very thankful. More here: WREG.com
