Dickens Christmas Coming To Skaneateles

Friday kicks off another year of Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles. Charles Dickens says that will begin 5 weekends of great Christmas magic in Skaneateles. There will be horse drawn wagon rides, caroling, complementary eggnog and of course many of Dickens' friends and characters. This is the 25th year of a Dickens' Christmas, so be sure to stop by! Donations from those 4 organizations will be packaged and then delivered to the needy families this holiday. Walmart alone has donated $27 million across New York State to fight hunger. Michael Jordan is giving back to the victims of Hurricane Florence this Thanksgiving. The former NBA player gave out turkey meals to people affected by the storm in his hometown of Wilmington yesterday. He previously donated $2 million to hurricane relief efforts. A mystery man in Vermont paid off the entire lot of layaway items at a Walmart in the town of Derby. Several people found out when they went to pay for their items and they had already been paid off.
