There have been numerous pizza topping trends that have nearly broken the internet- pickles, bananas, kimchi, and even a full Thanksgiving dinner have all seen the light of day on someone's slice. The latest? Cold cheese on cooked pizza. You can grab a slice at Beto's in Pittsburgh (pictured below), Tino's in Oneonta, and Little Vincent's on Long Island.
Legend has it that a customer wanted his hot pizza cooled down quickly, and the cold-mozzarella slice has been a part of these three restaurants ever since. There is a bit of cheese added to the pizza before it goes in the oven- so you're not totally missing out on the melted goodness.
