Anyone who's been around for even half of Elton John's incomparable career can attest to the fact that it has been a wild ride. Elton himself hints at this as he announces the publication of his first autobiography in October. There's no title, and no ghostwriter mentioned either, but he does say the book is an interview between him and someone else, who translates those conversations into prose. Elton says that a lot of people have written about him, but no one has really gotten in right. I guess we will find out what's what soon enough.
