You may soon not be able to even shake your co-worker's hand, as more and more companies are afraid of having to deal with expensive sexual harassment claims.
Human resource companies say that employers may ban all forms of physical contact to avoid confusion about what kind of touch is appropriate. The #MeToo movement is a big reason why companies are going down this path.
Experts say that the level of appropriate contact varies from person to person but also from industry to industry but don't be shocked if one day you walk into work, not being able to so much as shake anyone's hand.
